Microban Protection at Work
All products with Microban protection undergo extensive laboratory testing to ensure they effectively inhibit the growth of microbes. Using industry standard testing methods, the samples above were tested for efficacy against bacteria that can cause stains, odors and product degradation. The sample on the left was manufactured with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection and the sample on the right was untreated. Both samples were inoculated with bacteria and then photographed after 24 hours. The sample with Microban protection showed no growth while the untreated sample showed significant contamination. |
